  2.  THE SENSORITES.   Written by Peter R. Newman.   6 Episodes.

  8.  COMPANIONS:- Ian, Barbara and Susan.

  10.    Landing on a giant spaceship in the 28th century, the travellers discover
  11.  the small crew to be under some sort of mind control. The Captain, Maitland,
  12.  explains that they are under the control of the Sensorites, a race that 
  13.  inhabits the Sense Sphere.
  14.    Through telepathic contact with Susan, the travellers are invited down
  15.  to the Sphere to meet with the Sensorites who explain their situation.
  16.  The Sense Sphere is rich in molybdenum, a valuable mineral and the
  17.  Sensorites are fearful of exploitation. They also say that since the visit
  18.  of the humans, their people have been dying.
  19.    After Ian drinks some water he falls ill and the Doctor deduces that the
  20.  supply has been tampered with (the elite Sensorites drink from a different
  21.  source to the rest of the population and are unaffected). Investigating
  22.  further, he finds deadly nightshade in the water supply and discovers that
  23.  it has been placed there by three deranged humans from the original
  24.  expedition. The ship is released after the Captain promises not to reveal
  25.  the Sensorites' secret.
